There’s always the free day at Seaworld. The military member and up to 3 dependents get in free for one day. We take our 3 kids every year and just pay for the youngest one, so it’s still a great deal for us.

It is not you. It is a spoofed email that someone else sends. It is very easy to do. What is your email, I will give you an example. I will make it says its from “notification@irs.gov”

Some hotels offer a “volunteer rate” that is substantially less then their regular rates.

The staff at HfH will be able to help you find a hotel, once you actually commit to volunteering.

You can consider trying to get reservations if available in the Navy Lodge (can be viewed at navylodge.com) in Corpus Christi. That would give you lodging with kitchen facilities and would save on eating out, as you would if you stayed in a hotel and had to eat every meal out.

You can try for discounts at the Army Moral Welfare and Recreation Website:

There are also Air Force Inns at Randolph AFB and Lackland AFB, as well as the Guest House at Fort Sam Houston.

The Guest House at Fort Sam Houston and all transient facilities have been reasonably busy with families of patients in the 2 military medical centers on those bases. However, you can try for availablility.

There are some discounts available for the local amusement parks through MWR, But Fiesta Texas has online discounts which can save you money as well.

Also both Fort Sam Houston and Randolph MWR have recreation rentals at the lake just north of San Antonio which are normally not overly booked during the week.

There are on occasion some recreation rentals available at the coast through MWR.

Regarding amusement park prices MWR does have some discounts.

The military bases in Dallas, Fort Worth and Galveston, Houston have been closed during BRAC

Yes, it is possible to get the dining plan but without the park hopper, you have to make sure that you are going to the park you have reservations for dinner for. I would never go to disney without making dining reservations ahead of time. You’d never get to eat. Reservations can be made 90 days out.

We love Disney World we love it all and have never been disappointed. On our first trip I was surprised by the crowds and the lines for rides, but we now prepare. We bring books to read, IPods and other things to entertain the kids. We always make our arrangement directly through
We also use the dinning plan, and call 180 days before our trip and make arrangements for our meals.

You can go to the website or contact them directly. They generally need a week long commitment for Habitat. Thank you for your interest in rebuilding New Orleans.

You might want to ask them about hotels that help with discounts. Often times groups come down and stay in churches etc but I am sure the local office can help you with suggestions.

this are the 2008 edition. until september 18 you can order it. but this book are the best to plan in disney.
