Seriously. No plugs for your home business or sending me to expedia/travelocity/orbitz/yahoo or any of the other ‘generic’ websites that all offer the same measly discount.

Anybody know some good ones for finding really good deals on luxurious (or really nice) places to go? Price is #3 on my list, below luxury and location.

    Thanks for sharing!

Me & my family are considering taking a vacation sometime in mid October or November. Last year we took a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It was fun but way too long on a boat. This year we do not want to spend as much but want to get away for about 4 to 5 days max.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go or what to do? We want something fun, relaxing and also, a place that will keep teens entertained as I will have my girls with me.

One thing to add we have always dreamed of one day going to Hawaii but feel its probably way out of our league. Does anyone know of some bargains or discounts to where we can possibly take a vacation there sometime? Me & my two daughters have never fllown in an airplane either. So we are clueless when it comes to flying.

We spent about approxamatly $3000 or more for the cruise and this year funds are a bit tight so we don’t want to spend that much.
The Hawaii thing most likely will have to be in the far future
    But~
    I am all ears

Has anyone gone to Fort Meyers on vacation? My husband and I have a nearly free place to stay this month. Is there more to do than just relax by the pool? That’s my bag, but also love museums, food, water tours.

Any suggestions/discount ideas would be fantastic. No kids are coming w us.

My boyfriend and I would like to take a small (but well deserved) vacation somewhere in CA. We’re both college students (living in the Sacramento area) on a budget, but we’re planning on staying in any of the Marriott chains since he is a bartender at one and receives the employee discount.

*Ideas besides SF, Monterey, Santa Cruz and Disneyland…

    Thanks!

I am interested in becoming a part time travel agent mostly to get the travel agent discounts when I travel but also to make extra money on the side I have seen some websites that claim for a fee of like $75 you can get the iata card to get the hotel discounts, has anyone had any experience with any of these websites or are there any that anyone would recommend where I could get the travel agent card to start booking vacations to get discounts. No bull s h i t or sarcastic answers please I just want people that do this or are familiar with this to answer.
Thank you for your answer, so how exactly can you go to school to be a travel agent is there a way I could go to school online?
I mean a travel agent at home.

we haven’t been on a family faction this summer yet and both my parents work over time and have been working over time for about a year so we don’t have much time. But I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a cheap but fun vacation we can go on. By the way we live in Virginia.
